Meet the staff...

Benjie
Shaw

Benjie has been on staff with InterVarsity at UGA for 2.5 years but has 10+ years of campus ministry experience. His favorite conversations start with some version of, "I don't want to be a heretic, but I've been thinking..." because it means students are asking good questions and taking ownership of their faith.

Benjie cares deeply about connecting with people who are far from Jesus, building trust, and finding ways to meaningfully share the Gospel with them.

He has been married to Jenna for almost 16 years (he was her freshman Bible study leader), has a 10 YO daughter, 7 YO son, and 3 YO dog and lives in Watkinsville.

Fun fact: he's always happy to meet you for coffee or boba!
